GOOD TO BE BACK

Good to be exhibiting again.  More importantly-great to be working again.  The Summer of 2012-won't forget that one. Took a bit of a turn towards being a gallery director and spent much time getting things underway.  Enjoyed all the hours spent helping artists prepare for upcoming exhibits,  getting the shows hung, working with gallery volunteers, talking about the art. Then one day, I realized that the current situation wasn't for me.  I had a management style and the other party did, too.  I could see that we weren't going to be compatible.

So, I am happily back in front of the easel.

Here is one of my late summer paintings.  "Jack at the Window" was in the annual juried IDADA show in September.
